
Professor Dr Oded Nahlieli
Professor Oded Nahlieli graduated from Hadassah School of Dental Medicine to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, in 1979. He specialised in oral and maxillo-facial surgery in Israel. During the period 1988-1989, he specialised in endoscopic surgery at a central multi-profile hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, at a department of maxillo-facial surgery.
Professor Nahlieli is Head of the Department of Oral Maxillo-Facial Surgery at Barzilai Medical Center, city of Ashkelon, Israel, and a lecturer at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and the New York University College of Dentistry, USA.
Since 1993, Professor Nahlieli has developed the practice of salivary gland endoscopy (sialoendoscopy), and is one of the pioneers in the field. He has a wide experience in endoscope-aided salivary gland treatment. He has developed a series of endoscopic techniques and special devices for minimal invasive procedures in dentistry and medicine.
Professor Nahlieli is a highly sought-after lecturer and a leading world authority in Europe, the Middle East and North America. He has more than 90 publications, and has developed 25 patents.
